The vision of the Village Adoption Program is to create lasting change in the lives of people of the village(s) with special focus on the sectors of Health, Education and Basic amenities which are considered the pillars for Human Development. For us Village Adoption means to work along with the community at the grass root level and enabling them to pursue the goal of development of the village in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and learning as to what works and what does not and evolve a model of village development for replication and training. The vision of the program is to cover areas like sanitation, water resources, natural resource management, skill up gradation, community mobilization, women group formation, promotion of local hand loom and handicrafts, health, education, institutional building,agriculture development for smart agriculture, waste to wealth.

In an attempt to bring little light in darkness, Team Earthful installed the first solar powered light in the streets of the Hatigarh Kusiyani village of Morigaon District, under their Village Adoption Program. The street lighting aims to ensure safety of the villagers who live in a highly flood prone region. Also solar powered lights will provide a sustainable energy in the community, which otherwise witness frequent power cuts in electric supply.
