Covid Relief Kits
To make our rural areas equipped with resources and spread awareness for the Covid 19 Crisis, Earthful Foundation distributed “Covid Care kits” to the villagers through the Health Officers of Jhargaon Health Block, Morigaon- Assam. The kits consisted essentials like, pulse-oximeters, N95 masks, 3 ply masks, sanitizers, gloves, medicines etc. and posters with information about Covid 19, in vernacular language that is simple and easy to understand for rural people.
The Covid Care Kit was constructed to give patients easy-to-understand information and the essentials to successfully practice self-care at home, so that they can stay safe and protect their families and communities. Also, by using the Care Kit, the Doctors were able to monitor the patient’s health and help them recover from Covid-19.
Awareness Programs on Covid 19
Earthful Foundation organized Awareness Programs on Covid 19 to enlighten the audience with the Symptoms and Precautions of the disease and distributed reusable cotton masks and soaps among the masses.
Covid 19 Helpline
Earthful Foundation formed a helpline number for information on Covid-19 aids. At times, when information about Covid-19 aids flooded in social media, we took initiative to acquaint the callers with information about isolation centers, oxygen, doctors etc. searched, verified and customized for them. The initiative aimed to serve those who were not tech savvy and were in urgent need of support
Handbook on Covid-19 in vernacular language
Earthful Foundation compiled a comprehensive handbook on Covid-19 to create awareness among the people living in rural areas. Written in simple and lucid local language, the handbook catered to a wider section of population and helped them in difficult times.
