Our Vision

Earthful desires to create a society where people make optimal use of resources around them, and advocate for development which is equitable and in harmony with nature.

Our Fundamentals

The universal 4Rs serve as the basis that determines the essential structure and function of Earthful Foundation.

Reduce Icon

Reduce

We emphasize on creating awareness for reducing the accumulation of wastes and carbon footprints by consuming less and avoiding single-use items that are harmful for the environment.

Reuse Icon

Reuse

We create channels to connect the haves and have-nots so that someone’s trash can be reused to become treasure for another, thus putting less pressure on our existing limited resources.

Recycle Icon

Recycle

We find solutions to recycle as much resources as possible, so that instead of ending up in landfills as waste for eternity, they can be put to use again in a new form.

Recover Icon

Recover

We preach & practice Source Segregation, which helps us recover items that neither can be re-used nor recycled but can be converted into energy in Waste-To-Energy plants.

Making an impact by working together

With mounting solid wastes scarring the landscape and polluting land, water and air, Earthful Foundation has stepped in like a breath of fresh air. Striking at the root of this bourgeoning problem, it facilitates segregation of domestic waste at source and subsequent resolution of different categories of waste for recycle/reuse, thereby adding value to waste, economizing on consumption of precious natural resource and preventing environmental degradation. This is indeed ‘Living with a conscience’!
Barun BarpujariFormer Executive Director, IOCL
Earthful Foundation is actively working in the field of waste segregation for past few years in various
districts of Assam. Earthful Foundation follows a well-established approach wherein, introduction to the
problems of waste, it’s pollution and its management are done through regular environmental
classroom sessions reinforced by audio-visual presentations, competitions etc. They sensitize the
students through hands-on and thought-provoking activities & enrich them with knowledge and practice
of sustainable waste management. They have been associated with GMC for various waste awareness
programs in the past couple of years and have the expertise and experience to carry out such programs.

“Earthful Foundation with the cooperation of the Pollution Control Board of Assam, has come forward with the E-Waste Detox Drive. People have very little idea about e-waste. If we look at today’s world, e-waste has proved to be one of the worst pollutants, yet very little action has been taken in this regard. For household waste, municipal waste, plastic, etc., many people are working and we give them priority. But across the whole world, according to a two-year-old survey, 62 million tonnes of e-waste are generated every year.”
Dr. Arup Kumar MisraChairman, Pollution Control Board, Asssam (PCBA)
